First Aid Refresher Training Courses
First Aid Refresher training Course!
Have you taken a first aid course before?… Do you need refreshing?… A First Aid Refresher is designed for anyone who wishes to refresh their existing first aid at work training. Our First Aid Refresher course will refresh your existing first aid knowledge, where a risk assessment has deemed this level suitable, so they have a fundamental awareness of how to deliver first aid.
First aid training is more important than ever! Employers are now legally required to ensure their first aiders are totally competent and are able to maintain their first aid skills throughout the three years in which their certificates are valid.
It is important to know that the Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that first aiders attend a refresher session once every year during this three-year period.
This Course Covers:
Adult resuscitation (CPR)
Communication and casualty care
First aid training with a group
Assessment and certification
This course is for people holding a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. The First Aid at Work Refresher Course is designed to update the skills of delegates wishing to renew their existing 3-day First Aid at Work Certificate.
The course covers a wide range of topics including CPR, AED use, choking, bleeding control, and first aid for common injuries and illnesses. The course is taught by experienced first-aid instructors and is designed to give delegates the most up-to-date information and skills to help them deal with first-aid situations.
This is a first aid refresher course so each course attendee should be in possession of a current First Aid at Work or a First Aid at Work Refresher Certificate. If certification has expired the delegate is no longer considered to be a qualified First Aider.
The course is about three hours long. This course session builds on your already existing first aid expertise and confidence. We also keep up to date with any official updates or changes in first aid treatments needed for this refresher course.
