Level 2 Emergency-First Aid
With all workplaces these days needing a designated trained & qualified first-aider, the Emergency First-Aid at Work training course provided by us at TPB Training enables you to give first-aid with the qualifications needed. After training, you will be able to orchestrate first-aid with our training in a calm and efficient manner while also being able to complete accident report forms and reports at your place of work.
Course Outline
This training qualification is suited to those already working or preparing to work in a relevant industry who wish to become qualified first aiders and help reduce the number of workplace accidents and working within the remits of (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. Topics discussed in this qualification are crucial for maintaining good regulations within each workplace in regards to the treatment of injuries and ill-health.
Course Aims
To provide Emergency FirstAiders with the knowledge, skills and materials needed to effectively provide employers in the workplace or premises with a reliable FirstAider who is able to deliver prompt, effective and safe first aid care to a casualty and in order to assist HSE-approved first aiders with effective prompt aid using the necessary tools available.
Course Candidates
The Level 2 Emergency Emergency First Aid at Work provided by our specialist trainers is usually more appropriate for lower-risk work environments, such as offices, retail buildings and shops as well as large companies with less than 100 employees.
For regulatory purposes, successfully completing the Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work will enable the candidate to act as a first aider in the workplace. This programme is accredited by First Aid Industry Body or Qualsafe Awards. Qualsafe Awards has been accredited by the regulators* of England, Wales and Northern Ireland and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). *The regulators are Ofqual in England, DCELLS in Wales and CCEA in Northern Ireland.
The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), a Trade Body (an acceptable option for Employers to choose as per HSE Information Sheet) checks every registered Training Provider to ensure that they will always meet the standards that Employers need to satisfy their Legal Requirements for First Aid provision as required by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
